The 4-star rating is mainly for the portions and service. I'm not saying that the food was crap, but just manage expectations and treat this more of a casual pub scene, rather than fine dining. The first time I came here, I actually did not eat or drink anything. That's because as I perused through the menu, the restaurant lost power from a thunderstorm. So they basically could not serve food for an unknown period of time. I thanked them for being informative and kind and moved on to a different spot for the evening meal. I decided to return a second time. The wings (Buffalo and garlic parmesan) were well-fried and flavorful. The risotto had too much balsamic vinegar on top, and the rice tasted a little sweet (think rice pudding). Both were turnoffs for me, and felt fortunate that it wasn't my order. The buffalo mac n' cheese was quite good, with a large portion that made it satisfying. Service was friendly and kind throughout and the decor was okay, though a little dark inside (even when they had electricity). This is a decent choice for food and it is on a main road.

Service. Five star! Had a great bartender with a great sarcastic personality like me! Food was great. Started off with the habanero cauliflower bites. Portion is huge and I as more than enough for the four of us, the wedge salad, it's literally a whole romaine stalk. Perfect for sharing. Buff Mac and cheese looked delicious and was gone. I'm a 47 year old 7 year old and got the chicken tendies and fries. Home made and fresh made tendies and shoe string fries. Mom had a bite of her bolognese. Too much for her. But another great portion. They have a fabulous outdoor setting too. For pits and lites. So cute. Menu isn't too big but big enough everyone will be happy. A must go to if visiting or if you live there. Oh and I had a fabulous extra filthy goose martini with great olives! always a bonus with good olives.

It was a beautiful, snowy day before Christmas when my friend and I decided to stop in for a late lunch. We had enjoyed excellent, attentive service, and wonderful burgers and espresso martinis. The ambiance was perfect. I look forward to returning!

We went there on a Saturday afternoon in October so of course it was busy. We sat outside. My wife and I are both former restaurant people, so I was afraid it would be too busy to have a good experience. I didn't get the servers's name but she had multiple tables. Nevertheless, she was quick taking our order and getting the drinks out (rule #1 accomplished , get the drinks out and people can chill). The food came out pretty quickly as well. I had the fish n chips with malt vinegar. It was really good. Whatever her name was, she is a great waitress! And the food is great too. Thanks!
